"A Virtual Assistant (VA) is an independent entrepreneur providing administrative, creative and/or technical services.  Utilizing advanced technological modes of communication and data delivery, a professional VA assists clients in his/her area of expertise from his/her own office on a contractual basis."  - as defined by the International Virtual Assistants Association.
Virtual Assistants traditionally have many years experience in senior level administrative positions in a corporate environment, ranging from executive assistants and office administrators to marketing execs, project managers and strategic planners.  Virtual Assistants are business owners (like you!) who use their expertise to make a real impact in the success of other business owners.

How Does it Work ?

Virtual Assistants work remotely ("virtually") from their client's place of business, in their own fully equipped office. We purchase our own software and equipment, have a business license, a business phone line established, and pay our own taxes and insurance benefits, just as our clients do.

Because of today's technology advances, geographical distance no longer prohibits you from getting the help you need!  Using web-based services, e-mail, postal and express mail, real-time online instant messaging services (like MSN, Yahoo or AIM), telephone, fax, and Internet transfers, I'm only moments away!

How much does it cost?

Virtual Assistant services can run anywhere between $30-$60+ an hour depending on the VA's specialization and professional experience.  Virtuoso's rates range between $40-$50 an hour depending upon the scope of a client's work requirements, and whether they wish to enter into a project-based or ongoing collaborative relationship with me. Those wishing to work with Virtuoso on a consistent monthly basis can receive a substantial discount of up to 20% of my hourly rate.  Additional information can be found on my Rates page.

What if I have a business need you're unable to fulfill?

One of the greatest things about the Virtual Assistant industry is that we  are well connected!  Other Virtual Assistants are viewed as valuable resources - not each other's competition.  If you have a project or a skills requirement that I'm unable to fulfill due to time constraints or because it falls outside the scope of my services, I have a large network of extremely qualified Virtual Assistants I partner with that I can either refer you to, or if preferred, I will work with them on your behalf in order to satisfy your business needs.
