I'm Lisa Morgan, owner of Virtuoso Administrative Services.  I've been a senior level administrative professional for over 20 years, spending the largest portion of my career at one of the largest mortgage servicers in the country.  I've worked closely and comfortably with all levels of staff and management, and my inherent "can do!" attitude have given me a lot of opportunities to broaden my range of expertise.

A virtual professional since early 2001, Virtuoso opened its doors for business in July, 2004.

Why Virtuoso was created

As has happened to many, the company I worked for went through a corporate restructure.  After much consideration, I decided this was perfect opportunity and the right time to pursue my dream of owning my own business doing what I love to do most - taking all of my acquired business experience and helping others achieve their business objectives. 

Small business owners and entrepreneurs have the same need as corporate giants to help them succeed by having administrative experts on their team.  Providing that service as a professional Virtual Assistant is the ultimate solution to being able to achieve my personal and professional goals while helping YOU achieve YOURS!

This is an important belief I've held that has motivated me throughout my life in my professional and personal relationships.

My former employers would say that I'm happiest when I'm able to go beyond the confines of a typical administrative job description to help them succeed, and that's true!  I am a person who is constantly striving to find ways to remove obstacles in order to free up other's time so they can focus on what's important to them. 

I pride myself on being an extremely efficient, motivated, and dedicated professional. I have an "old world" work ethic where integrity, trust-worthiness, and hard work matters with the added benefit of thriving in today's ever-changing high-tech world.

Career History

I've held a variety of positions in the Corporate world that allowed me to look for opportunities to improve productivity and implement necessary changes.  My professionalism, dedication, and willingness to happily go above and beyond to assist others was often formally recognized by my peers and senior management, including being nominated and selected as a company All Star Employee and twice as company Employee of the Month.

Senior Administrative Assistant:
A true right-hand assistant to a senior level executive and management team, managed personal and professional communication and emails, calendar management, presentations, travel arrangements, meeting transcriptions, handled customer problem resolution, and reviewed raw data reports to identify progress towards division goals, then compiled information for month-end reporting.

Staff Advisor:
Teaming with Human Resources, acted as liaison to 140+ staff providing clarification on basic employee relations issues. In this role, I was able to lead employee-based focus groups identifying critical issues in corporate communicates, create timely staff newsletters advising of departmental changes, policy reminders, and upcoming department initiatives, strengthened employee morale in disseminating regular, consistent information, and resolved inconsistencies in employee time off tracking by creating databases and producing monthly management reports.

Reporting Analyst:
Helped identify process improvements and management reporting solutions, creating databases and reports to assist management. In addition, I prepared, analyzed and monitored annual department budgets in excess of $5 million, presented monthly analysis and recommendations on multiple staffing issues to management, proactively addressing these issues, effectively achieving expense and profitability goals.

Business Analyst/Project Manager:
Managed on-going project changes, determined best-practice scenarios and reporting solutions, then developed production reports to monitor results. I served as subject matter expert in various Six Sigma initiatives and systems integration projects, and developed/managed multiple project plans.

Office Administrator:
In addition to providing administrative support, developed and maintained cost tracking database and reports. Developed the employee manual, established Workplace Drug Program, coordinated setup of, and managed all Human Resources functions to include benefits administration, recruiting, background and drug screening, new hire orientation, employee file management, timekeeping, and performance appraisals.

Who is Lisa Morgan?

Born and raised in Ohio, I recently
moved from the hustle and bustle of our capital city in Columbus back to where I was raised in Springfield, located between Columbus and Dayton.  I'm a devoted mom to a bright, energetic little boy who is the greatest joy in my life. I have a wonderful sense of humor and a warm, supportive personality (very important in this line of work!).  I'm a voracious reader, and very much enjoy journaling and writing poetry.  Music is a true passion of mine and I enjoy nearly everything from classical to blues, jazz to classic and new rock music. I'm a self-avowed information-junkie who has a limitless thirst for knowledge so I am always taking classes or reading up on the newest trends.  I love sports, but football is by far my favorite spectator sport, and I'm a life-long Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fanatic!
